A popular Korean product for seaweed soups and salads is dried seaweed. This product is made from "wakame," an edible marine vegetable with a light sweetness. It is a pre-cut kind of the seaweed known as wakame, sometimes known as miyeok in Korean and occasionally as sea mustard.
